Paramount Pictures - Campaigns
Campaigns
As Creative Director at Paramount Pictures, I led the creative development of global marketing campaigns for some of the world’s biggest film franchises. From concept to execution, I worked closely with the internal marketing team to manage agency partnerships, produce digital content, and experiential activations collaborating with filmmakers, studio executives, and global partners to ensure each campaign captured the essence of the story while driving audience engagement on a massive scale.
My Role
From 2011 to 2017, I contributed to the creative and marketing work across every Paramount Pictures theatrical release, shaping visual direction and campaign assets across a wide range of global film launches. This included developing key art systems, working with in-house editors to cut trailers, social art and strategies, digital and print advertising, and cross-platform campaign materials designed to support each film’s release strategy and audience reach. I worked across Paramount Pictures’ theatrical marketing pipeline during a period of strong global box office performance and later strategic transition, contributing to campaign development and design systems that supported major franchise releases and helped evolve the studio’s creative output across a rapidly changing theatrical landscape.
Results
Between 2011 and 2014, Paramount operated at the peak of its modern box office performance. In 2011, the studio was the #1 global distributor in the industry, generating approximately $1.96B domestic and $5.17B worldwide, driven by a strong slate of franchise titles including Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, and multiple co-distribution releases.
I was even lucky enough to get a free lunch from Tom Cruise, and send a Transformer out to pick people up as an Uber driver.
